It may be cliché, but a picture really is worth a thousand words to me. I'm a visual learner, and my memory is triggered by imagery more than words. Have you ever consciously thought "I wish I could bottle up this moment so I could have it forever?" I definitely have -- a sweet nurse grabbed my camera and I have a picture showing the relief and joy I felt when I held my newborn son for the first time, Preserving those moments has been priceless to me.

PORTFOLIO
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Design -- I have been drawing floorplans since I was a child, first with sidewalk chalk. My formal education provided me with training and skills that are universal to art and design.
After graduation, I drew plans until I decided to stay home when my first child was born. I was asked to learn and teach ancestry research around that same time. (2014) I became engrossed in the stories of the people I was researching and realized it was my responsibility to document my new baby's life. I bought a camera, and the rest is history. A new obsession started that took me in a direction I didn't anticipate -- documenting not only my own family's story, but moments in the lives of many other's as well.
It has been one of the greatest honors and joys of my life so far.
The bridal shoot was a dream; it felt fun, natural, and I felt simply lovely. The pictures got back to us quickly and the editing was beautiful. There was a good variation in feel, style, pose, and background in the photos.
Because of her advanced organization, our wedding went smoothly and quickly. I felt comfortable at the reception that night because she knew what moments we wanted captured, and is attentive to sweet, candid moments that make for beautiful photos to look back on.
